Frequently Asked Questions

"What makes Wing Chun the ultimate fighting style?"

Short Answer: It's not.  Here's why:

A Deeper Look:

As human beings, we are all born with the same "weapons": hands, legs, elbows, knees, shoulders, head, etc. We all have the same fundamental bodily structure and mechanics. We are all bound by the laws of physics and, in the context of a fight, we all have the same basic goals. Despite these similarities, there are many different martial arts. Every fighting art has its inherent strengths and weaknesses. If tradition is "the transmission of customs or beliefs from generation to generation", then the simply answer to this question for our organization is "Yes". However, I find this particular question to be rather misleading. Here's why:

A Deeper Look:

Even if you have no previous first-hand experience with Wing Chun, you have probably already formed an opinion of what Wing Chun "is" based on past research (movies, internet searches, books, videos, etc.). Continue Reading...
